High cookies 🍪 || what's the story and why you will like it?
High Cookie as the name suggests is a story about the cookie that is making people go high as drugs.
There is a school where these cookies are circulated among students and the consumers are students.
Some students are buying these cookies to perform well in their studies and some want to do good in other areas.
The distributors are also students.
Because of this, a student died and the police are now investigating in school.
Choi Min Young (Jung Da Bin) is one of the students who is circulating these cookies and when the girl was dying, she was present at the moment.
So, police start to ask question the death and other details.
And remember police don't know about the cookie yet. They are here to investigate about the girl's death.
Choi min young live in dormitory but other girls make fun of her because of her mask.
She has to move to her sister's house who is not rich. Choi Min Young doesn't like how she has to work hard for her job and face difficulties.
Guess who is her sister Choi Soo Young ( Nam Ji Hyun ) who has got job but her boss is a pervert.
The story will have many twist and turn. The cookie will finally come out of school and will create problems too as you know it has drugs but that drug cannot be detected.
In all these dramas you have seen him as a witty, charming, smiling, energetic, and happy character but now it's going to be different.
Choi Hyun Wook is playing a serious role here whose name is Seo Ho Soo. He is a friend of Choi Min Young whom he like but he is poor and weak too. So, he always has to work for money.
Choi Min Young has to move to her sister's house which she hate because she doesn't like being poor.
She buy her clothes to wear for her sister Choi Soo Young, so she can get a good job.
She brought some cookies 🍪 to her home too and by mistake her sister got it. She take it and went to her job where she give that cookie to her boss. Yes, the pervert one.
Her boss eat that and went High. He go insane and an ambulance has to take him away.
But, after few day he came back to take that cookie again and abduct Choi Soo Young.
He call his sister and threaten her, she with her friend Seo Ho Soo run and save her sister from him.
But, her sister Choi Soo Young is now having doubts on her sister about the cookie.
So, one day she went to her school to check by herself and found that cookie were there and a lady was carrying it.
That lady take her to laundry room where she told her about it after Choi Soo Young persuade her to tell the truth.
When Choi Soo Young found about the cookie she broke down and when Choi Min Young got to know about her sister that she found everything, she came to rescue and decide to not work for this and tell everything to the police.
There was a teacher who was in police but it turn out that he was actually working for a gang who is searching for the chef who is making cookie.
Choi min young is trapped into chef's intrigue and she is now into coma. Chef ask Choi Soo Young to work for her and she agreed.
Now, she entered the school with new name and as a school student. She has to work instead of Choi Min Young and she has to gain more clients than before.
She started living into the same dormitory as her sister and people started liking her because she is becoming popular as Song Jin Woo's girlfriend who is the popular boy.
She later found that Song Jin Woo also work under chef and later they started working together as he know that her sister is in coma and she has to work hard to get more clients.
You'll love the story and the unexpected twists of this drama. But, everything will be resolved in the end. Btw, It has open ending, so we are waiting for the new season. However, many twist and turns, the story itself will hold you till end.
Nam ji Hyun and Jung Da Bin literally look like sister to me, their sister bonding is awesome. And, I have always appreciate Nam Ji Hyun in every role she play.
My favorite character of her was in "little women", where she has played young sister of Kim Go Eun. She was strong and fierce, I love that drama too because it has some of the amazing casts like Kim Go Eun, Wi Ha Jun, Nam Ji Hyun, Kang Hun and Park Ji Hyu.
